I am very excited to have two images in the Bending The Truth exhibition at the Woody Gaddis Photo Arts Gallery at the University of Central Oklahoma. The exhibit, juried by Associate Professor Jesse L. Miller, Assistant Professor Mark Zimmerman, and Manager of Photo Labs Angela Cejda from the University of Central Oklahoma, will be on view from August 18 – September 22.
A big thanks to the jurors for including my work in this show!
Nursing Is Normal, a collaborative project that I created with my wife Michelle Stephens, is on view at the Latchis Gallery in Brattleboro, Vt., for the month of August. This project, sponsored by the Vermont Department of Health, is a series of portraits of mothers nursing their babies in public spaces, an effort to normalize breastfeeding and support breastfeeding mothers.
I am happy to be teaching at The Grammar School’s Summer Camp in Putney, Vt., for the week. Working with kids 5-13, we are experimenting with the cyanotype process, going on photo scavenger hunts, and more.
I am excited to say that two of my images have been included in the summer 2017 exhibition of The Curated Fridge. This exhibition was curated by none other than Arlette Kayafas of the Kayafas Gallery in Boston, MA.
A big thank you to Arlette for selecting my images, and a big thank you to Yorgos Efthymiadis for creating such a wonderful and unique platform for photographers to show their work.
