I am happy to be teaching at The Grammar School’s Summer Camp in Putney, Vt., for the week. Working with kids 5-13, we are experimenting with the cyanotype process, going on photo scavenger hunts, and more.
I am excited to say that two of my images have been included in the summer 2017 exhibition of The Curated Fridge. This exhibition was curated by none other than Arlette Kayafas of the Kayafas Gallery in Boston, MA.
A big thank you to Arlette for selecting my images, and a big thank you to Yorgos Efthymiadis for creating such a wonderful and unique platform for photographers to show their work.
The Annual Student Exhibition is on view at the Latchis Gallery in Brattleboro, VT. This exhibition highlights work by students at the In-Sight Photography Project over the past year. I have worked with many of this students either as the Program Director at In-Sight, or directly as their teacher. I am proud of all they have accomplished and am excited to see what they do in the future.
My youngest group of students cut and color their photographs during class. This group, ages 8-13, spent the semester using digital photography to explore the world around them through various basic visual literacy assignments.
